Global Employability Path - GEP

The Global Innovation Challenge is an oppotunity for students to develop their innovation, interpersonal and business skills while becoming techologically savy. At a glance: • Working on a multidisciplinary cross-campus team with Schiller students from all 4 campuses • High-level mentoring sessions from professionals who will strengthen career skills, soft skills and networking contacts • Working with innovation methodologies and tools used by most companies, like Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Agile. • 4 sessions to complete during the 3-month duration of the project • The winning project is recognized and considered for application All participants will get tangible benefits from this initiative that connects students, corporations, and innovation. Participation in the challenge will grant students with 100 points for their Global Employability Path (GEP) certificate. For the second edition of the GIC students act as business consultants for Ernst & Young solving the challenge "How might EY help traditional banking to attract young consumers and increase its market share? "

The aim of this workshop is to reflect upon the skills necessary to foster your interpersonal skills and to develop it in a practical and motivating way. In this sense, you will train the following specific skills:  Emotional intelligence: Develop capacities to work with people to achieve goals.  Stress tolerance and flexibility: Cope with pressure and stress and when working with tight deadlines, as well as dealing with criticism.  Communication and public speaking: Conveying ideas, connecting with others and articulate thoughts persuasively while engaging with an audience.

Bronze is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 100-150 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 80-100 points.

The ING Hackathon presented a unique opportunity for students to develop their innovative thinking and problem-solving skills while collaborating with one of the world's leading financial institutions.

Silver is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 150-180 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 130-160 points.

Gold is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 180-250 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 160-180 points.

Platinum is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated 250 points or more in GEP activities and master students who accumulated 180 points or more. To obtain this level students must also prove volunteer experience.

Bronze is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 100-150 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 80-100 points.

Silver is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 150-180 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 130-160 points.

Gold is acquired by undergraduates who have accumulated between 180-250 points in GEP activities and master students who accumulated between 160-180 points.
