Assertive Communication and Personal Effectiveness

• Perception filters. • The power of language: words to engage us / set boundaries. • Self-diagnosis questionnaire for participants to discover and understand their preferred communication styles. • Characteristics of the 4 attitudes: to which objectives they respond and how they manifest themselves. • Difficult situations for an unassertive person. • Role-playing exercises to practice situations that require assertiveness. All participants will go through 3 different roles: 1- demonstrate assertiveness, 2- generate a difficult situation and 3 - observe. • Feedback from the observers and the trainer. • Presentation of tips and techniques to adopt an assertive attitude adapted to the situation. • Participants prepare an individual action plan and share it with a colleague. • Final learning round.
